My worship professor told me that Advent in a contemporary worship service is the hardest thing to do. I believe him, and am inspired to rise to the challenge. Working on an arrangement of two Advent hymns that involves re-written lyrics and slightly adjusted time signatures (not necessarily tempo, though I guess that would depend on how you’re used to doing these particular songs). If it works, I’ll post the mash-up on my other blog.
